AGATHA CHRISTIE MADE ME DO IT June 5 – June 14 By Eddie Cope Auditions April 13 and 14 A bumbling detective decides that writing about crime is safer than his real-life job of dealing with it on the street. He takes Agatha Christie’s murder mysteries as his model and starts out. Right there on stage, he invents a murder, drags red herrings across the stage, develops an outrageous plot, and creates a crop of zany characters (Monte Brainard, the playboy bachelor, Jo-Jo LaMotte, a stripper, and Jenny Winters, a candy-dipper). It’s funny and it’s suspenseful. |
